Back to School Issue...

You know... I am so used to working round the clock that it is boring now not to. lol! In June I ended up leaving my 3 jobs for a full time position and then It did not work out. So... I went back to one of my old jobs. Summer was pretty quiet. I've been creating as much as possible for you and I enjoy the creative outlet. :)

So... GoDigitalScrapBooking.com has a Mixology set of individual kits made by different designers. This month it was a set of 8 colors and the theme was up to the designers choice so... Hi everyone, I know it's been too long since I posted. here I am. I was working nearly 70 hrs/week from 2-2015 until mid June. I'm getting caught up and then... I start a new prescription that makes me really really drowsy. (sigh.) Better now but creativity definitely took a toll from this.

New Life Event... I'm a budding Author!

Hi everyone,

Since I tore up my knee it was too uncomfortable to sit with my feet on the floor. I did not have the same software on my slow laptop as my i5 desktop. well...


I started a book about life's journeys and recovery from mental health and depression issues and perseverance on my birthday 1.5 years ago. I looked into publishing it then but decided not to pursuit it at the time.

I wrote a couple more chapters the week that I was on crutches. I Googled it and found a few new publishers that actually looked more suitable. I sent in an outline and a couple of chapters. WELL....

Wait for it...

I signed a book contract!!!

I'm going to have a published book this time next year!!! woohoo!

It's called "Shattered Crystal" and fiction but inspired by life events.

well... back to why you are here lol.

Blimey!!!! OUCH!

Hello All! :)


I just want to pop in to post this week's portion of the Mello Moments kit.

Hopefully I'll find the time to write a bit more next week as I am off my feet due to a knee injury. Ack! Just when things were starting to go well after surgery... well, I did need to slow down a bit anyway. haha.

Yup, I was bent down cleaning and felt a minor stretch on my knee one day this week. Then I fell on my knees a couple times cleaning. Then I reached down to lift a heavy box of brochures from the floor and kinda felt another small stretch to the same area.

On the way out of our break room that afternoon I was just walking normally and felt a "POP" sensation in that knee. Criminy! Doctored all day the next day. What with x-ray and such. I find that it is a bad sprain. Both meniscus and ligament damage. Oy!

Well, at least I'll have a bit of time off to post something readable... mrahahahaha! Well... gonna wind up here and head to bed. I have a long day planned tomorrow with back to work and all. Oy!

Welcome Meditation NEW: Mello Moments

Here is one of my older kits in my stash... Mello Moments. It is a bit too big to put up on my Store at Etsy but it has 6 parts to it. Welcome the New Year.

Anyone have Resolutions for this year? I am on a fitness/ dieting regime. I have lost 13 lbs since my heart procedure and am going to try to continue the journey toward healthy weight and wellness! Since recently gaining over 50 lbs I now will be trying to lose some 120 lbs of weight. I've done it before with low-carb diets and combination diets like Somersizing this time it is all about permanent lifestyle changes!!!!

I'm getting prepared for my big move! I've lived in the same apartment for over 16 years now. I am getting ready to do a major purge of my things and move light. I will be moving about 100 miles away. I will be within the Twin Cities metro area or surrounding suburbs. I currently reside in South Eastern Minnesota in a small City with a population of slightly over 100,000 people and growing quickly.

My dear friends live up in the Cities so it will be fun getting together with them more often. woot!

New Store is open!

I opened an Etsy store for my designs... you can order my kit(s) there if you missed a part to one of my kits or want to pick it up right away! How great is that? Currently I have Oo-La-La up in the store. There will be a few oldies in the store as well as some brand new original kits as well!

If you want previous parts to my kits you can always go to "See older posts" on the bottom right of my blog. Sorry that the week 3 link was a bit off last week. You can also go to the label on the blog for that kit and it will show all posts for the selected kit. as in "My Boys" label and such.

I had a marvelous Chistmas!! I hope that you did too! New Year was good as well. I wish everyone a prosperous and happy New Year.

Anyone want to share your resolutions? I am on a fitness and weight loss thing. Funny, when I diet I love to bake. I taste a small sample of my baking and end up either giving away the rest or sharing it at work. They love me at work!!! mrhahahahaha!!! I brought in Oatmeal cookies lately with dried cherries, and a pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting! How great is that?

Hi everyone. Just a quick hi between jobs today... I am felling good. I went back to work just days after my surgery and have hardly had any time off since. eek! Doing well. It's now just a cram session to get ready for Christmas as I have company coming. LOL!

I Made it Through!

Hi hi everyone!!

So there I was lying flat on my back on a flat surgery table in the catheter lab during my heart ablation procedure. I was having low heart rates, swelling, and an irregular heart beat, especially a lot of PVC's, pre-ventricular contractions. So my heart was working 20% harder than it was supposed to be. We needed to do this procedure to avoid congestive heart failure.  Also my body was backed up with toxic fluids.

The procedure took ten hours. I was awake for most of it. They went in something like they do in an angioplasty procedure from the arteries. They had a camera and electrodes in there. They ended up burning twenty-four positions in the heart lining and around my pulmonary artery valve. phew! I am so glad I made it through all that!

I went back to work the next Monday, not even a full week off. I should have taken a full week and came back after Black Friday. lol. Best Buy was nuts!!!

Anyway, I can now walk without getting light headed or out of breath. My swelling is gone and my body is no longer all stiff and sore. I feel 10 years younger!!!

Thank you so so much for all the kind thoughts and prayers. It is so much appreciated.

Well... I am starting a new kit today. Sorry I did not get to it sooner. I have been back working and still tire a bit easily yet. My stamina will be back soon, I am sure. This post introduces the My Boys kit. It will be a five part kit. So here is the first part...

Well, I'm having my heart procedure (surgery) done this week. All prayers and kind thoughts are most welcome! I am excited to get this done so that I can feel better. :)

With that on my mind a bit I can't come up with anything else to post so I'll just say, " See ya later my friends!"
